Fill cluesYou must select the Clues thumb in the control panel to be able to add clues to the words in the grid.  In this mode, all the words are numbered according to the "English" convention. Cases are taken from left to right and from top to bottom. Every case which is the beginning of a word (vertically or horizontally) gets a small incrementing number in the top left corner. Select words and their cluesClick left on the grid in order to select the horizontal word covering the case. The clue related to this word is also selected in the Across list box in the control panel. Click right on the grid in order to select the vertical word covering the case. The clue related to this word is also selected in the Down list box in the control panel. Click left on a clue in the Across or Down list to select it, as well as the word in the grid associated to this clue.  Edit cluesClick twice on a word in the grid, or on its clue in the Across or Down list to open a dialog enabling to change its clue.  If the word exists in the dictionary and if at least one clue is found, the Dictionary Definition can be activated to select one of them. In any case it is possible to enter a custom clue in the Custom Definition box. |
