Q-Word
Q-Word is a powerful crossword puzzles maker enabling you to create professional and fun puzzles. Its interface is attractive and intuitive. You can create puzzles automatically thanks to the generator or you can build them by hand. You can also use Q-Word to help you to complete a puzzle from a magazine or to solve grids imported from Internet (Across format).
Application layout
Application layout is given in the picture below:
- Menu bar: enables to access all the options of Q-Word.
- Tool bar: helps you access the most common actions of Q-Word. .
- Mode selection: enables to select the mode.
- Creation Mode: this mode enables to create a crossword puzzle
- Solving Mode: this mode enables to solve a crossword puzzle
- Control panel: This panel has several pages enabling to manage the different aspects of the crossword creation or solving. Displayed pages depend on the selected mode.
- Grid: crossword grid.
- Status bar: shows actions that can be performed with mouse / keyboard.
